Side Effects and Directions
Sulfur, one of the main ingredients in the acne spot treatment, has been known to cause irritation, redness, and peeling skin. Individuals are advised to conduct a patch test prior to using this product to prevent an adventure reaction.
Murad recommends that the cleanser be used morning and night. Lather a small amount of cleanser over the face and neck. Rinse away with cool water. Use a clean cotton swab to apply toner to the face and neck, paying particular attention to the T-zone area. Use a small amount of the acne spot treatment on individual blemishes as needed. Apply a thin layer of the acne treatment gel to the face. Focus on areas currently suffering from a breakout and breakout-prone areas. Follow up with a light layer of the perfecting lotion. Allow skin to dry before applying makeup.
