Elemor Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Cream proclaims themselves to be unlike any other product, mainly in the aspect that it will not only reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, but eliminate them all-together. Thanks to the skin-restoring benefits of their star active ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C, the skin cell turnover rate is naturally boosted into producing additional collagen, which fills in the creases in the skin that we see as wrinkles. Once plumped and full, the wrinkles no longer cast a shadow, meaning no more dark lines on our faces.
A Closer Look at Elemor Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Cream
While all of that sounds ideal, there has to be some catch, right? Well, as of right now, Elemor is only available online, and reviews for the product are scant. Most come from Amazon, which help to legitimize it a little, though they hardly agree that this cream is the perfect potion for smoother skin. Some describe a ‘sour fruit’ smell, while another user with sensitive skin reported the ‘tingling’ was more of a ‘burning’ experience. Not exactly excellent.
Other reviewers advised that they had no specific problems with the cream, though it didn’t perform as quickly as they thought it might. Some said they didn’t see results until they had used the entire jar of cream, while others saw changes in as little as a week. Most of the ingredient list checks out as either beneficial or at the least, unharmful, but unfortunately there are a few problematic exceptions. The first is Mineral Oil, which is not necessarily harmful, though it does hold the potential and is heavily debated. We would rather steer clear, just to be safe. Additionally, Vitamin C has a ton of benefits, but a few drawbacks as well. We explore those in more detail down below.
Mineral Oil
This ingredient has been around for some time, but is still the center of debate often in the beauty field. Experts cannot seem to agree on whether this collection of hydrocarbons- which is obtained via processing of petroleum- is beneficial to skin or too dangerous to risk. Studies in Canada have determined that there is a link between Mineral Oil and potential for certain types of cancers if it becomes inhaled. No action has been taken to ban Mineral Oil in Canada or the United States, though it is heavily monitored in Europe. 1
Glycerin
While it can be derived from plant oils or synthetically produced, Glycerin is a popular beauty cream ingredient which balances the natural moisture levels within your skin. It does so by virtue of being a humectant, meaning that it draws water from the air into the skin’s outer layer. It then forms a barrier over the skin, letting nothing else in or out. That is a nice protective feature, but also a potential danger if other chemicals are along for the ride with it, and now trapped under a glycerin blanket on the skin. Whenever a product has Glycerin on the ingredients list, always be certain to cleanse your skin thoroughly before use.
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil
Though the nut itself is very fragrant, the oil extracted from it carries none of that scent. Rich in triglycerides and fatty acids, almond oil is an excellent skin replenishing ingredient. It’s non-volatile, and does not cause skin sensitivity. For cosmetic use, it is most commonly included in creams and serums as an emollient.
Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer
Incredibly easy to use in its liquid form, this compound is a gelling agent that thickens solutions. It also helps to stabilize products, so they keep the desired viscosity over time, keeping creams and shampoos and other beauty items shelf-stable for longer. Upon contact with the skin, it melts and leaves behind a slight tingling sensation and a velvety feeling, which adds to its popularity as a beauty cream additive. 2
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
While ingesting Vitamin C has a variety of health benefits, it also has many topical uses as well. It helps to firm and tighten the skin, while also evening out the skin tone and promoting cell turnover, which fills wrinkles and fine liners, making them disappear altogether. However, high potencies in topical applications can cause irritation or redness, and should not be used with ingredients that are meant to penetrate into deeper skin layers. Vitamin C is also volatile when exposed to light, so high concentrations should be packaged in dark containers. Elemor is not, though Ascorbic Acid is low on the ingredient list, meaning there is not much in this cream, so there is less danger.

Proceed with your morning skincare routine as usual by washing your face with lukewarm water using a mild soap or cleanser. Apply small beads of Elemor Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Cream into the areas needing the most hydration and massage gently into surrounding areas, coving the entire face.

Likewise, if you need a gentle anti-ager, you should bypass this one as it is rather harsh.
