In-Depth Review
Coming from the line of Phytomer beauty products, the Acti-Gene Contour Gel is designed to encourage your body to store less cellulite as fat. The unique formula also smoothes and firms out your skin and improves overall tone.
Phytomer is a beauty product manufacturer headquartered in Saint Malo, which is a port city located on the northern coast of France. The Phytomer Acti-Gene Contour Cellulite Reducing Bi-Gel is one of six products in their contouring line.
According to Phytomer, the Acti-Gene Gel has been tested and proven effective in “in-vitro” studies; which basically means that it has not been scientifically tested on humans or animals, but has been positively tested in a “lab” environment. This lack of testing with real, live, sufferers of cellulite may raise a flag for some, although the company does say this product will bear results after 2 months worth of use. Also, one noticeable attribute of Phytomer’s product is that it doesn’t include popular anti-cellulite ingredients like bladderwrack extract or bupleurum falcatum extract, but instead includes ingredients that aren’t so common (and aren’t necessarily as proven), such as Sea Grape and Palmaria Palmata.
