Side Effects and Directions
Keep in mind the teeth whitening considerations prior to use.
Do not use Nite White ACP if you have open wounds or sores on the interior of your mouth. Only use this product under the close supervision of your dentist. Be sure to keep your Nite White tray stored in cool, dry spaces, well away from exposure to direct sunlight. Do not over-fill your tray or use a tray if it has been over-filled. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while you have your Nite White tray in your mouth.
For three weeks prior to use, be sure to brush twice daily with a desensitizing toothpaste. Before using your Nite White tray, be sure to thoroughly brush and floss your teeth to clear away any food particles or plaque on the surface of your teeth. Put a thin layer of gel in both trays. Place the trays on your teeth. Set them firmly in place and be sure to prevent any gel from dripping out of the ends. Clean any excess gel from your gums with a single finger. Leave the trays in place for two to three hours each day. Remove the Nite White trays and set them aside. Use cool, running water to rinse your mouth out. Be sure to rinse until all the remaining gel has been removed from your teeth and gums. Use warm, running water to rinse and clean your Nite White trays. Let them dry until your next session.
In-Depth Review
Nite White ACP is an at-home teeth whitening kit that combines the effects of amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP), potassium nitrate, and fluoride in a single product. By utilizing the unique properties of Nite White’s proprietary ACP compound, this product builds up the enamel on your teeth and wipes away stains while, at the same time, desensitizing your teeth and gums to reduce your discomfort during the process.
Nite White ACP is a powerful tooth whitening product and as such, must be used under a dentist’s supervision. There are 15 different versions of Nite White that range in concentration and number of applications. Your dentist will help determine which kit is right for you. Although Nite White can be found on third-party sites, it is recommended that you only use this product under direct supervision.
For many consumers, the absence of a full ingredient list may be cause for concern. The product’s namesake compound, Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP), remains a mystery due to the company’s patent on it. Since this ingredient is not widely used and the only clinical tests on ACP have been funded by the compound’s manufacturer, consumers should be wary when using this product.
